Based on the Kioga novel of the same name by William L. Chester.
Kioga is very similar to the character of Tarzan, whom Herman Brix had also played on film in the 1935, Edgar Rice Burroughs produced serial The New Adventures of Tarzan.

PLOT:
An expedition to an uncharted island, led by Dr Rand, is shipwrecked.
The only survivors are Dr Rand's son and his servant Mokuyi. Many years later, a message from the sinking ship is found and an expedition sets out to rescue any
survivors. However, when they arrive, part of the crew, led by the smuggler Solerno, mutinies, abandoning the expedition members. Fortunately, Dr Munro and company are rescued by Kioga, the now adult son of Dr Rand. But can they escape before the volcano erupts?
