Radar Men from the Moon (Republic Studios, 1952) was the first Commando Cody serial starring newcomer George Wallace. This famous serial recycles the rocket-powered flying suit from King of the Rocketmen (1949). Stock footage from earlier Republic Studios serials, all the way from The Purple Monster Strikes (1945) to King of the Rocket Men, is also used extensively. The serial was followed by a short lived television series, Commando Cody: Sky Marshal, which retained Aline Towne as Joan Gilbert but replaced George Wallace and William Bakewell with Judd Holdren and William Schallert.

PLOT:
Things are suspiciously exploding all over the world and government agents suspect an alien force based on the Moon. The government assigns Commando Cody (George Wallace) to look into this series of strange atomic explosions which is threatening the United States' defence systems. As Cody soon discovers, the threat is coming from the Moon, whose ruler, Retik (Roy Barcroft), is planning an invasion of Earth...
